Questions & answers

What should I bring to my consultation?

P Written by: Phil Kim Medically reviewed by: Dr. Robert Aki, DPM Last medically reviewed: October 9, 2026

Bring a list of your medications, any X-ray or MRI reports, and a summary of past treatments for your condition. Most of all, bring your questions: the consultation is your time to get honest answers.

Imaging and reports

X-ray and MRI reports help the team understand what is actually happening in the joint or tissue. If you have them, bring them; if not, the team will discuss whether imaging is needed.

Medications and history

A current list of medications, supplements, and past treatments helps the team assess candidacy and plan safely. Include anything you take regularly, even over-the-counter products.

Your questions

Write down what you want to know: how the treatment works, what the evidence shows, what recovery looks like, what it costs. No question is too basic.

What happens after

You leave the consultation with a clear recommendation and a written picture of next steps and costs. You decide when you are ready, and the team is happy to answer follow-up questions by phone.
