Do I need an MRI or X-ray before treatment?

Imaging is often part of the evaluation at Aloha Stem Cell, because understanding what is actually happening in the joint or tissue shapes whether regenerative therapy may help. If you have recent X-ray or MRI reports, bring them to your consultation.

Why imaging matters

Knee pain is not a single condition. An X-ray or MRI helps distinguish cartilage wear from a meniscus tear, a ligament injury, or something else, and the right treatment follows the right diagnosis.

What to bring

Bring any recent X-ray or MRI reports and images you have. If you do not have them, the team will discuss whether imaging is needed and how to get it.

How imaging shapes the plan

Imaging findings help determine whether regenerative therapy is a reasonable fit, which treatment may be appropriate, and what results might realistically be expected. It also helps rule out problems better served by other care.

The honest first step

A careful evaluation, including imaging when needed, is part of every responsible treatment plan. At Aloha Stem Cell, no injection happens before the picture is clear.
