Regenerative care for the way your body moves
Aloha Stem Cell offers cell-based and platelet-rich plasma therapies for joint pain, tendon and ligament injuries, and age-related wear. Every treatment is preceded by a thorough consultation, and every outcome is described honestly.
01 · Stem cell therapy
Support your body's own repair system
Stem cell therapy at Aloha Stem Cell is autologous, which means the cells come from your own body. We collect a small sample, usually from bone marrow or fat tissue, prepare it in our clinic, and deliver the concentrated cells back to the damaged area with a guided injection.
Because the treatment starts with your own biology, the risk of immune rejection is minimal. The goal is to support the tissue's own healing response in joints, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue that has struggled to repair itself.
Conditions commonly discussed
- Knee osteoarthritis and cartilage wear
- Shoulder and rotator cuff problems
- Hip and back pain
- Tendon and ligament injuries
- Slow-healing soft tissue
- Age-related joint discomfort
02 · PRP therapy
Your platelets, concentrated and focused
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) uses a small sample of your blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors that orchestrate healing. The prepared plasma is then injected precisely into the injured joint, tendon, ligament, or muscle.
PRP is one of the most studied regenerative treatments, with meaningful evidence in knee osteoarthritis and certain tendon injuries, and it is often the right starting point for patients new to regenerative medicine.
A typical PRP visit
- Blood draw and preparation, about a 30 to 60 minute visit
- Numbing and a guided injection into the target area
- Mild soreness for a few days, improvement over weeks
- Follow-up to track progress and adjust the plan
03 · Consultations
Every treatment plan starts with a real conversation
We do not sell treatments before we understand you. Your first visit is an unhurried conversation about your history, your pain, your goals, and your imaging, followed by an honest assessment of whether regenerative therapy fits.
Your history, heard fully
Symptoms, past treatments, medications, and how it all affects your daily life.
Imaging, reviewed together
Bring your X-ray or MRI reports; we will explain what they show in plain language.
Options, weighed honestly
Cell therapy, PRP, conservative care, or surgery. We recommend what fits you, not a package.
Costs, stated up front
Full pricing in writing before you commit. Most regenerative treatments are not covered by insurance.
04 · Recovery & aftercare
Regeneration happens over weeks, not hours
Honest aftercare is part of honest care. You leave your appointment with clear written instructions, a follow-up schedule, and a number to call if anything concerns you.
First 48 hours
Rest, ice, and protection of the treated area. Expect some soreness and swelling; that is the healing response at work.
Weeks one to three
Gradual return to daily activity, then guided rehabilitation. Improvement typically builds over weeks to months.
Any time you have concerns
Severe pain, signs of infection, or new numbness? Call (808) 593-2525. You always know who is on the other end of the line.
A note on regulation and expectations
Regenerative medicine is a young field, and most cell-based and PRP treatments are not FDA-approved for the conditions they are used to treat. That is why we are transparent about the evidence, why we say so plainly when a treatment is investigational, and why we never promise specific results. Your health deserves nothing less than candor.
