When can I return to work after treatment?

Most patients can return to desk work within a day or two of treatment, while jobs that involve heavy lifting or prolonged standing may require more time. Your provider gives you a return-to-work plan based on your specific procedure and job.

Desk and light work

If your work is mostly seated, you may return within a day or two, with some soreness and swelling expected. Take it easy on stairs and long walks.

Physical and active jobs

Jobs that involve lifting, standing for long periods, or repetitive movement of the treated area need more recovery time. Your provider will give you a realistic timeline.

Listen to your body

The healing response varies from person to person. If the treated area is still sore, give it more time before returning to full duties.

Plan ahead with your employer

Ask about light-duty options if your job is physical, and confirm your recovery timeline with your provider before you return to full duties. Written instructions are part of every treatment at Aloha Stem Cell.
